Q: Where are you located?
A: Vow & Vogue provides bridal makeup services in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, California, New York, all other states + countries. We specialize in the following locations: Jacksonville, Jacksonville Beach, Atlantic Beach, Ponte Vedra Beach, St. Augustine, Palm Coast, Orlando, Amelia Island, Fernandina, Tampa, St. Pete, Bradenton, Jekyll Island, Sea Island, Gainesville, Clay County, Green Cove Springs, Palatka, Savannah, Hilton Head, St. Louis, Eureka, Pevely, St. Genevieve, Highland, Edwardsville, Clayton, Greenville, Columbia and Bloomsdale.
Q: Can I bring my own makeup?
A: Absolutely! If you feel more comfortable using your own makeup, I will be more than happy to use that for you!
Q: What method of payment do you accept?
A: Cash is the preferred method of payment, due to your artist upon completion of each application on the day of your wedding or trial. I also accept Venmo, or credit/debit card payment. Payments made with a credit or debit card will automatically have 20% gratuity added to the total.
Q: What products do you use?
We use a variety of high quality and professional grade and the very occasional tried and true high performance drug store product. Some of our favorite brands include: Dior, Nyx, Charlotte Tilbury, Huda Beauty, Chanel, Too Faced, Patrick Ta, Painted, Milani, E.L.F., NARS, Makeup by Mario, Laura Mercier, Natasha Denona, Bobbi Brown, Hourglass, Morphe, Jeffree Star, Anastasia Beverly Hills, YSL, Stila, P. Louise, Makeup Forever, Embryolisse, MAC, and RCMA.
Q: When do I pay for the services?
You will pay a deposit to hold your spot, and the payment is due the day of the event immediately after all services have been completed.
Q: How do I book my wedding date?
A: A signed bridal service agreement with a reservation fee is required in order to book your event date. This fee is NOT deducted from your event day total and is non-refundable.
Q: How much time do you usually schedule for each person?
A: We average 30 minutes per makeup application. However, we do add a buffer time of an hour for set up and 30 minutes for tear down.
Q: Will I have to reapply my lipstick throughout the day?
A: Most of the products we use are very long-lasting, but we do require all of our clients to bring their own lipstick to reapply the rest of your day.
Q: Will I receive a schedule of my makeup appointment for the day of?
A: Yes! I will contact you 1-2 months prior to your wedding day with a fully detailed schedule for you to approve beforehand to make sure everything goes as smoothly as possible.
Q: Do you tip a makeup artist?
A: It’s never required, but always greatly appreciated. Generally, the standard gratuity percentage for a bridal makeup artist is 20-25%.
